Exam practice

If you feel you need to practice more activities related to the exam, the best option is for you to work at home. Plan a schedule to which you'll stick to, so you make sure that at least once or twice a week you have some time to practice, say at the same time the planned day (for instance, every Tuesday at 8.00). This way, you'll feel the need to respect this timetable.

Here I share with you some web resources. Most of them are focused on Cambridge exams, so you'll find some parts, such as Use of English, or the gapped activities in Listening activities, that are not the same for us, but having practice with any listening activities will help you improve your skills.

  • MemLang. This is a YouTube channel with lots of listening practice, including the answers of each test on the information video section. Moreover, you can download the exam practice books clicking on each link.

  • English Aula. Although you need to pay to access most of their materials, some activities are free. The previous link concerns the EOI format, but you can also check the FCE samples.
  • Flo-joe. Different practice tests mostly concerning Reading.
  • Esl-lounge. This is not technically exam practice, as the activities are not the same as the ones in our exams, but they're useful to expand your vocabulary and grammatical skills. Useful further practice.
  • English Revealed. This website is similar to the previous one in which it doesn't reate to our exams, but it's very helpful to build up grammar and vocabulary.
